Fabricating Specialists is an employee owned company that became a part of the MEC family in July of 2008 and began production in November 2008. The tube bending facility, located in Neillsville, Wisconsin is currently 46,000 square feet and has ability to double in size. Equipment includes both NC and CNC tube bending specialists that allow rotary draw bending (both mandrel and empty bends) and push bending. The CNC units have multiple radius capability, allowing multiple bend radii on tubes within a single setup. This state-of-the-art equipment, coupled with our years of experience allows us to create complex tube geometries very cost effectively. Our in-house tooling capabilities allow us to design and build our own tooling, giving us the ability to provide very fast turnaround on production or prototype requirements. Fabricating Specialists can bend round tubes from .375" through 7.00" diameters and square and rectangular up to 4.00" with up to .250" wall thickness. Materials included aluminum, brass, copper, carbon steel, aluminized coated steel, and stainless steel. We offer a full compliment of post bending capabilities including beading, flaring, sizing, slotting, machining and welding.
